Special Hearts Speak is a God-centered vocational community for adults with special needs that provides meaningful work, connection, and a culture of honor. These individuals will create beautiful, marketable items to sell to help sustain the vocational community they enjoy every day. Our citizens are empowered to become artisans, bakers, gardeners, potters, card makers, and more.

About Our Non-Profit

Our Mission

To create a welcoming atmosphere for the special needs community by engaging their God-given strengths in purposeful employment, by providing educational services, and by initiating opportunities to form friendships, thereby restoring the dignity and respect of all.

Our Vision

To construct a space where our friends can continue to learn, work and pursue their dreams as they are celebrated and empowered in a faith-based environment; opening the door for non-speakers to find their voices through alternative communication, unveiling special hearts to light up the world with the love and life they have to offer.

How can we pray for you ?

“Special Hearts Speak”
Let your heart sing
Let it speak louder and louder
Let your precious thoughts spell out wonders to behold
Let your heart forever sing with freedom
Let your heart spill out love on those near and far
Let your heart be seen in your eyes
Let your heart be felt with a touch
Let your heart bring warmth with your smile
Let your heart vibrate with God’s love
Let your heart dance with joy
And let its beauty forever shine forth
Speak, special heart, Speak!

~James, Co-founder

"You should never judge a book by its cover or underestimate someone with special needs. We all have something of value to offer. God has placed in individuals that need a little more help than most a double dose of His love. If you can learn to look past the outward appearance and tap into that love, you will never be the same."
